As part of my final project in my first year of university I was tasked with designing a promotional poster for a museum of my choice. I chose the 'Happy Place' a touring interactive exhibition which promotes enjoyment and happiness through playful exhibits.
For my poster I took the idea of the interactivity of the museum and included it within the concept of the design. The poster takes the classic idea of happiness through the smiley face symbol, with the ability to customise the symbol with magnetic accessories. Creativity and playfulness can be explored through the customisable element of the poster, with the magnets allowing many different combinations, all unique to the individuals interpretation and creativity.
